Join us this September for BREAK/MAKE – a two-part community mosaic project at PARNASSUS.

11AM - 2PM

Meet us in the Break Room during @walkdontrun to SMASH SOME PLATES in the name of art! We’re collecting a mountain of secondhand dishes and we need your help breaking them for our upcoming mosaic mural. We’ll provide the plates, safety goggles, and a designated Break Room–all we need is you and your best throwing arm. 

*Plates will be provided to throw for a small suggested donation and any funds raised will go into the supplies for this and future community art projects! 

MAKE

Friday, 9/25 

5PM - 8PM

Make your mark by contributing to a larger-than-life COMMUNITY MOSAIC on the 4th floor of Parnassus. We’ll be creating a wall-sized mural out of the broken dishes during @seattledowntownartwalk and we’re looking for collaborators! Drop by for 5 minutes or stay for the whole 4 hours—any and all artistic energy is welcome.

*All necessary mosaic supplies will be provided – but you’re welcome to bring your own tesserae if you have something special you’d like to include.
